Jack and Taz have been busy!

It's been a while since Jack and Taz updated their blog. They have been busy little dogs. Jack keeps eating mushrooms then refueses to eat the next day. No worries- eventually he will eat from prodding from his furmommy. She will sit there and wait until he eats his food. Then Taz will come in quietly and lick his bowl. ;-)

Taz had her teeth cleaned yesterday

It was a busy day for Miss Taz. She was taken to the Vet early morning and by 12 noon her teeth were clean and shiny. She even played in the yard at the hospital. The nice people at the hospital gave her a scarf to wear around her neck. Check out her picture:



















Then mommy picked her up at 4:00 and Taz could barefly keep her eyes open - she was so sleepy. She's now back to normal - loud, abrasive and *cute*! I think Jack missed her ;-)

Jack celebrated a birthday!

Jack turned 6 years old on June 12th. Here are two pictures of the birthday boy! As you can tell he doesn't like party hats. It was just a normal day in Jackland ;-)

Jack and Taz news!

Jack and Taz will be getting their bordatella shots next week (so they can be boarded). They will be boarded on June 14th since Mommy and Daddy are going on a trip to Las Vegas. To do what? Well, I'm sure to gamble but the main focus is we have tickets to see CARLOS SANTANA in concert. Woohooo!!

Jack and Taz will have fun as well. Taz will get the full spa treatment and Jack will meet up with his friends and maybe meet some new buddies. ;-)

Rain Rain Go Away

It's still raining. When will it stop? Me and my sister, Taz, have been spending a lot of time indoors. We've had 10 days of rain. But that's ok...with the dark and gloomy days we do what we do best--sleep (yawn), stretch and play with our Mommy.

Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's in the world and especially to our Furmommy. She takes good care of us and we love her ;-)

Jack is sneezing and I'm coughing. The grass and weeds are high. Oh, where is the gardener? Pollen is everywhere and Mommy has to wipe us down before we come into the house. Achoo! There goes Jack again sneezing. We need relief!

Beautiful day in the neighborhood

We haven't been blogging lately. Finally the weather is like it should be - spring-like. Today we are outside exploring the ground. My little sister Taz has found some yummy bugs to munch on. But as for me - I've been lying in the sun. Soon Mommy will be calling for us at the back door and we'll go inside for a nap ;-)

A walkin' we will go...

This morning Mommy took us on a long walk. We walked down to the church and she let us go in. We sniffed around but not much happening in there. Then we walked back and we saw a dog we've seen in the neighborhood. He was sunning himself on the ground. Taz wanted to get close to him - I guess to get him away from me (Jack) but Mommy wouldn't let her.

Sunday we went on another long walk. We got real tired and slept Sunday away...Zzzzzzzz

First day of Spring!

On the first day of Spring Jack and Taz are enjoying some quality time outdoors. Taz is sunbathing (too early for her bikini yet) and Jack is doing what he's best at - hunting for something to dig his nose in ;-)

Taz is feeling better and back to normal!

Little Taz is feeling much better. Yesterday she was back to normal - loud and abrasive. Barking at anything, wiggling and jiggling. She does that when her tail wags and she's happy. Her whole body jiggles!

Thanks to those who prayed for a speedy recovery for Taz. ;-)

Little Taz has been sick ;-(

Yesterday Taz must have eaten something that did not agree with her. It's normal for Toy Fox Terriers to dig and eat something in the ground. They are afterall "ground hunters". Apparently she ate something that did not agree with her. Within hours she was sad, ears back and having tummy problems. She ate a cup of rice and is feeling better, I am happy to report. Taz is resting in her bed and soon she will be back to her old self. Even her big brother, Jack, is watching over her. ;-)

Woof Woof

Yesterday Taz was upset. Another dog entered the property and all she could do was bark the dog away. I don't mind too much. I like having friends over but Taz doesn't. She's just trying to protect me. She doesn't need protecting. Taz is pretty ferocious. Like...the other day there was a herd of deer on our property and she chased them away too. Gee...she only weighs 8 pounds!!

Happy Valentine's Day

Today Daddy had to leave on a business trip. But we gave him a Valentine's snow globe to wish him a Happy Valentine's Day. We wish the same to all our friends out there reading this blog.

Today we are being lazy and sleeping most of the time. Mommy will go to church later. It takes her a long time to get ready.

Oooooo, spooky!

Last night Mommy took us outside for our last bathroom break before hitting the sack. We heard a noise in the woods. We wanted to run out to see who it was but she had us on our leashes ;-( But there was deifnitely someone watching us and moving in the woods. The moon was out and we could hear other dogs barking. Mommy was spooked. Maybe it was a wolf or coyote?

Brrrr, another ice storm

We had another ice storm. We don't like it when it's that cold out. Taz doesn't like her bottom to touch the ice...so we've been staying indoors where it's toasty and warm.
