Humane Society

I was very blessed to meet Kay Simpson,  Director of  the Humane Society for Pulaski County. Sam and I gave a sizable donation and she took time out of her busy schedule to come outside to our vehicle (as we were leaving) to meet us, thanking us for the donation.  She shook my hand and well...let's just say I was thrilled! I thanked her for all she does for animals which I can imagine is a hard job with long hours.

Jack enjoying our new front door. I think Baby Jack likes the new door. Earlier he was lying down watching the cars drive by, listening and watching the birds and in general enjoying the view.

This is what happens when the fence isn't secured. Jack got out of the fenced in area and was in the process of pulling at the netting we have to catch snakes. I yelled "get to the house" and he growled all the way back.

This happens quite often. Jack is eating grass this morning and refusing to eat - at first. He must have eaten something yesterday that did not agree with his tummy....it could have been a bug or something he found in the grass.

Anyhoo, he's back to normal now. Ate his food, his rawhide bone and dental stick.

We didn't forget our mommy on furmommy day - we thank her everyday for giving us a loving home. She takes good care of us and we love her very much!!!

Two weeks of vacation

Jack and Taz spent two weeks in the kennel. Their mommy was sick in the hospital. They had a wonderful two weeks of meeting new friends...specifically two Chihuahua's (comparable to their size). They finally came home and mommy is happy they are home!

Life is good and Jack and Taz are in la-la land this weekend ;-)
